ironically i switched to the amulet of bloodlust and died almost immediately after (it was my hubris that killed me)

Is *berserk really worse than *slow, except for the different trigger mechanism? In those rare cases where “slow” is acceptable but “berserk” isn’t, you probably shouldn’t be attacking. In most other cases, worst case, you can spend 3 turns running away with “haste” and a health buffer before slow hits.

edit: this thing was absolutely fucking busted and easily carried me to Chaos Fanatic title. I killed Lom Lobon in 4 attacks with this thing, chaos+holy+up to plus 16 enchantment on one weapon is insane. Didn’t know Xom had special bazaars that sell items with chaos stapled on like this until today.

The chaotic bazaars which Xom sometimes teleports you to. I also saw a chaotic Mule in one, though it wasn’t relevant to my character.
