Let me guess…

The next ranged weapon you find is a +4 heavy triple crossbow and you use your 5 enchant weapon scrolls on it.

Nah, we just used the orcbow all the way to Zot. That thing shredded. We were so proud of how we played this, most of the game we were an archer that had ice cloud, swiftness, blink and MCC for the rough stuff, and then later on we had chain lightning. Unfortunately, we died to underestimating a hasted mighted broodmother from a protean progenitor. We did not realize those could hit us for 1/5 of our HP in one go.
