We did it. This is the time where Gong might be good. If this character doesn’t benefit from it, we’re adding it to the RC file as “useless” for every character ever and never using it again. Come ooooon.

Update: Gong dropped for a good large shield. It’s just bad. It’s even worse with qaz because you can’t run away and have enemies not follow you while you’re not getting hit! It exacerbates all the downsides and is just not powerful enough to justify it. Sometimes, kids, you’ll feel the impulse to wear the shield of the gong. It will feel like a good idea, it’s a lot of SH, not that much encumbrance and even has some decent resists.

That’s the devil speaking. Don’t wear Gong. It’s a bad item even when it feels like it’s good.

Character won! It was quite easy in the end, after dropping Gong. That shield would have probably cost us the game though, it’s just unbelievably bad. Adding it to our RC file as always useless LOL.

Thanks to everyone that told us to just drink every potion we have and go balls to the wall on zot 5. It’s been working really well!

It’s so bad you end up swarmed every single level and for what? The shield is not even that much better than a good tower shield!
