Im a Merfolk Gladiator, got some good weapons from mini-bosses(the Scythe guy, his little Brother and the Twins), im a Atheist and have discoverd Cheibriados before.

Ru (visible on the screenshot) is quite good. I don’t think there even is a “best” god. There’s a lot of strong options. You’re probably going to die, and it’s best to have fun doing it ;)
The scythe is apparently a good weapon for the early game now, but you’re very likely to find something better before Orc. Do look at attack delay! A (+X) spear can often be a better weapon in the early game.
