I don’t feel too bad for Duvessa since she never has to watch her brother die. Her brother on the other hand always dies last… so I sort of feel bad for him.

But for a long long time when her berserk was only temporary Duvessa had the privilege of always being killed second…
(I definitely lost a character when I started playing again recently and didn’t know that had been changed)

Oh wow, I kill her first every time since I usually play squishy mages, and a berserk Duvessa is not something I want to contend with (I’m pretty sure she has killed me more often than Sigmund and Grinder combined). Dowan on the other hand is a pushover whether buffed or not.

I also kill Duvessa first if I can. Fast Dowan is easy enough to deal with, but berserk Duvessa is terrifying.

maybe the devs need to buff Dowan… I kill him always first too

Ideally, I’d say both buff Dowan and nerf Duvessa.

Duvessa caught a promising shapeshifting Demonspawn without sufficient consumables off guard today… definitely save Dowan for last!
