Is a lajatang of speed worth it on a kobold?

I found a lajatang of speed +2 in a vault on D:5. I’ve started as a brigand and got Wu Jian as my god.

My main concern is that the weapon is two-handed.

I dunno what’s going on but that’s the 4th enchanted quarterstuff in this game and I haven’t even found Lair x)

I think so. Staves (inc lajatangs) are pretty good on a kobold, as one of the few normally 2-handed weapons they can wield.

I would probably wield it. Speed is my favorite brand, and a Wu Jian you will be getting a lot of extra martial attacks with it. Not having a shield sucks but I just don’t think I could let go of the weapon. It is really good.
