I find demigod hunters to be the easiest. The key is getting a good weapon, a long bow, hand cannon, or arbelest are great. Get that weapon to mindelay, and then put a ton of skills into both dodging and fighting. Then try to get as much Dex as possible. If you do that you will be nearly untouchable by the end of the game because you will have so much dodging from the dex.

The key with hunters is to NOT let monsters near you. So if they are getting close, run to stairs and then come down other stairs. Ideally you can make noise to bring monsters to stairs so you don’t need to run. Yelling works for this a lot of the time.

I think summoners are easiest. Pretty similar to the reasons @Sobieck gives: with a summoner, there should always be space in between you and other monsters. Thus you can reset fights when they go badly.

imo DjCj. Fairly easy build. You just worship Makhleb or Jiyva or Elyvilon and blast everything with IMB and Prism.
