To maw or not to maw

Plan is to use quick blade to do lots off aux attacks. I have horns, weakness stinger and demonic touch going on. I am going to put my level up stats to strength because I do majority of my damage with aux attacks. I have found Maw talisman, is it worth it? It would give yet another aux attack, but then once I get my mutations full, I would only have boots left as armour slot.

Maw has a pretty strong aux attack, but you have enough of that already. I don’t think Maw would be worth it even if it didn’t have the XP cost. You need defences and resists to win the run, especially as a melee brute.
