on one hand there is pure damage of the triple crossbow but on the other hand the piercing and .7 attack delay on the longbow is pretty sexy, im not sure which one to go for.
might fuck around and try a 15 rune game this run.

I’d go storm bow 100%.
But by all means use the xxxbow for when there’s a single enemy that you’re moderately scared of. fights with a unique you reset, or lone OOFs, and things like that.
Would help to try scrolls of branding until you get something better. Flaming is decent, but useless against eg OOFs.
ended up rerolling the triple cross bow into a chaos branding 
so i guess the piercing and the attack delay of the longbow makes it stronger overall?
Chaos isn’t that bad. The worst that can happen is that an enemy goes hasted, mighted, and invis. But you’ve probably already got SInv, might does nothing to OOFs and most of the other really scary things, and on average the effects you get from chaos are good.
