YASD: coglin hunter ^ Hep, the glass cannon duo

What would you take on a coglin hunter ^ hep with a battlemage ancestor?

  • {Autodazzle, rF+, rC+}
  • {Regen+ RegenMp+, MP+4 Wiz Slay+3}

My ancestor keeps trying to suicide, and my strategy is to try to kill things before my ancestor dies.
Autodazzle might help me tank & keep the team alive, but it feels a bit sad if there’s no way to stab blind enemies.
The other one’s a collection of small nice things, but then I have to start thinking about which spells I want. Also I feel like waiting for the ancestor to respawn is more significant than waiting for hp to regenerate.

I think auto dazzle is more interesting, but like you said it isn’t that synergistic. rF and rC are ok on a coglin since you don’t have ring slots.

I think the second one is better. Mana regen and health regen are great wiz will make a lot of spells available easier. Slay is pretty good if you get two hand cannons. Honestly I would pick it in a second.

I got teleported, the ancestor got himself killed, and my tele scroll landed me somewhere dangerous. Maybe I could have got out if I’d used more consumables.

Dang that is bad luck. I hate the old tele into danger thing.

I like hand cannon and sling combos. I once played with an electric branded sling and a hand cannon for most of a three rune game and it was great. The added speed of the sling is really nice.
