YASD: Petrified as I run up the stairs, Crawl lets me know I messed up

I had been fighting Vaults 5 as Gnoll of Vehumet (Ignition online). Had spellforged servitor tossing plasma beams, but hasted Ancient Lich got too close and hit me with a crystal spear. I tried to escape upstairs so I could blink/TP away, but it tagged me with petrify as I was going up (I made bad decisions about Will). Brilliance wore off at the perfect time for a sick crawl burn.

I feel your pain. I just read this after splatting to paralysis in V:5 yesterday, simply because I forgot to put on my Willpower ring.
