Never shoulda went down into shoals, this was my first run where I got far enough to reach Lair and I was like might as well go down… Siiiiighhhh,f,…,.,. It was the first time I’d seen a rune be mentioned in-game and I WANTED IT but died to a snapping turtle after being nearly killed by a water elemental SIGH… YASD file

in this game you see most branch entrances before you should actually enter them :D
there is a general order of branches that players figured is the easiest, but if you want a non-spoiler answer pay attention to how much you’re getting owned and if you think you’re too weak for the place you’re in try going elsewhere. you want to get loot and experience somewhere you won’t get killed so that eventually you can tackle everything else
