This vault was cruel.
It feels like one of those vaults that supposed to teach you about a mechanic, but I still don’t understand why it was so deadly. A Swamp Worm at this point of the game is barely able to hurt me, so why is their dps suddenly so high?

It’s a dangerous vault! You’re not fighting 1 swamp worm, but 6! And they pull you into brambles that harm you (the swamp worm attack describes that this is possible)! And they yank you around so positioning is very difficult! And they clouds hurt you too! And then there’s the net traps!
It’s an easy vault to underestimate but I have had opportunities to leave when it was clear things were going very poorly. Teleport, and fog could have helped if you decided to back out early enough.
You can always leave dangerous vaults for later, with the exception of portal branches like Necropolis.
