It’s always fun to play berserkers, and draconians are cool too, so DrBe promised to be a nice combo. This time I only got 9 runes, as the fight with Cerebov drained my heal wounds supply. So I left the dark rune to wherever it was in Pan and headed for the Orb instead.
The most peculiar thing about this game was all these tridents lying around in the early game:

So it was quite clear that I’d switch to polearms. I turned into a pale draconian, which I think was quite ok. It’s nice to get some vision-blocking steam clouds around when needed.
In the end game, my total AC+EV+SH was 100, which I was quite happy about. However, I failed to find any better boots or gloves than the stealth gear I had. 18 shops in the game; not too many imo. On the other hand, there were two bazaars. Of course, the downside of two bazaars is that you probably don’t have too much money left for the second one…
A Trove asked for +2 shadow dragon scales. I enchanted some and got most notably the shield of ignorance in return. Quite a good deal, I think.
The Abyss trip for the rune took 1408 turns. It took me a while to get to A:2 but after that it was fast.
I entered Pan straight into Mnolegs level. Then, upon entering Lom Lobon’s level, I appeared straight in sight of the sleeping Lom. If only I’d had a dagger, I might have tried to blink next to them and try stabbing. Instead, I teleported away for a more controlled approach, as there other sleeping monsters there as well.
A total of 8 OoFs killed, quite much I think.
Only one mummy killed.
My 98th victory, first DrBe played. Dr is only my 19th best species (4/30=13% wins), while Be is my 2nd best background with 7/30=23% wins. My overall win-% remains at 11% (98/881).
