Djinn Earth Elementalist. I feel like I got super lucky with spells ( and early Jiyva no less) but still some close calls. As soon as I quiver some badass spell my brain shuts off and just start O>P>O>P until I’m in bad shape.
Still want to do a Felid and Mummy too, and a transmuter. Repo Troll is the only talisman character I’ve managed but that was super focused

Special mention to the EE Boulder spell, which made me smile SEVERAL times because it’s just very funny to roll a magic rock at the bad guy

This is an absolutely amazing set. Prism is the GOAT spell. I pick conj backgrounds just for it. It kills things around corners, out of sight, etc. And using it while retreating is amazing. Blow up something with prism, cast new prism, move two times out of blast radius, it blows up more enemies.
Starburst is OK. Plasma Beam is amazing as you said. Fulsome Fusillade is my favorite new spell. It is relatively easy to win with that spell alone. Firestorm is just incredible. Kills things off screen like prism, only it is more instant. And PV is fun too.
Blink is a great utility spell that helps through a whole game too.
