This is my third ascension, the other two were MiFi^Makhleb and MiFi^Okawaru

I really liked this run, and I feel like I’m actually getting better at crawl now since this was only my third attempt at Oni, one real game changer was trying to play carefully, before my second ascension I was constantly just o-tabbing and only tried something else if my HP got low, and now I’m actually thinking about what to do the moment I go downstairs.

To be fair, I used a pretty OP/easy to win with combo, I think. after I got manifold assault the amount of monsters I had to deal with wasn’t such a big deal.

I’d like suggestions on what I should try next. )

Congrats!
I think Oni are quite hard early on, no armor including most aux slots can be challenging.

I want to win with an Oni some day too, though I would start as a gladiator or an ice elementalist probably.

Belive it or not, the only reason I went with fighter rather than gladiator is because I thought the Giant Spiked Club was a one-handed weapon and I wanted to have a shield

Damn, Oni win without a shield is impressive! I’m surprised you haven’t memorized Apportation and Golubria, they are really good on any character, and for yours they were basically free.

Also, I see you had a fun Orb run :D
